Yes the rumours are true.

Ballhockeygear.ca will be closing. Our original close date was August 1st however we pushed that back to August 15th to give you a chance to make any last minute orders before the Fall season. It was a tough decision to close down the site. For the last 3 years, Ballhockeygear.ca has been providing players with a place to get their gear that was easy and had variety. As it continued to grow, so did the woes of running a business which being in a niche market, started to become very challenging.

For customers that have ordered Sublimated Jerseys through us, I will still be the Ontario Rep for LASport.ca so your accounts will continue to remain active. For those interested in jerseys, we do provide sublimation for ALL sports and now is the perfect time to order if you're looking for jerseys in the Fall. All our products are currently drop shipped so there will be no Closing Sale. Select products will have a discount however most items will remain at regular price until the closing date, August 15th. We will still be accepting exchanges however we will NOT be accepting returns. We are still offering the Canada 150 promo which is free shipping for orders $150 and more.

1. Fabriqué à 100% au Canada

De nombreuses entreprises affirmeront que leur produit est fabriqué au Canada ou qu'elles sont un fournisseur local. En un sens, elles le sont parce que l'équipement de sublimation est imprimé, coupé et cousu ici au Canada. Mais est-ce produit 100% au Canada? C'est difficile à dire. La plupart des entreprises commandent leur tissu à l'extérieur du pays (Chine, par exemple, de qualité à bas prix).

Chez LA Sport, nous fabriquons non seulement notre produit, mais aussi notre propre tissu. En tant que société canadienne, nous pouvons vraiment dire que notre produit est 100% canadien. Puisque nous fabriquons notre propre tissu, cela nous permet d'avoir de meilleurs délais et un service fiable.

2. Calendrier

Bien sûr, si vous payez de l'équipement de sublimation de haute qualité, vous souhaitez recevoir votre commande aussi vite que possible. Pour les capitaines d'équipe, nous comprenons les tracas relatifs à l'obtention des paiements de vos joueurs, c'est pourquoi la plupart du temps, vous ne pouvez commander que quelques semaines avant votre premier jeu.

Le délai moyen de production de la sublimation est de 5-6 semaines. Ceci représente un mois et demi d'attente, alors vous devez vous assurer de collecter vos frais d'équipe bien à l'avance, sinon vous porterez votre vieil équipement pour le début de la saison. De plus, si une imprimante se décompose, vous pouvez ajouter encore 1 à 3 semaines de délai à votre commande. Vérifiez toujours si l'entreprise avec laquelle vous choisissez de faire affaire contient suffisamment d'imprimantes. Le prix pourrait être meilleur, mais vous pourriez vous retrouver avec un temps d'attente plus long.

Saviez-vous que LA Sport possède 6 grande imprimantes? Cela signifie que nous pouvons réduire le délai d'exécution à 3-4 semaines et que si une imprimante se décompose, nous réaliserons toujours la commande dans les délais escomptés.

3. Qualité

Les maillots fournis par LA Sport sont faits de tissu haut de gamme qui permet aux maillots

d'être légers et de respirer. Ils sont pratiquement les mêmes que des chemises de performance, mais vous pouvez les personnaliser. 

Les équipes commencent à réaliser que vous pouvez obtenir la même conception sans avoir à coudre des patchs supplémentaires ou risquer de perdre vos numéros pendant le jeu. Avec la sublimation, la conception ne s'efface pas ou ne disparaît pas au lavage, elle ne se détache pas et conserve le même aspect net qu'au départ.

4. Service

Comme la qualité du produit est durable, vous voudrez vous assurer d'obtenir tout le matériel dont vous avez besoin dès votre première commande. LA Sport s'efforce d'offrir un service clientèle haut de gamme. 5. Prix

Selon le produit que vous recherchez, les prix peuvent varier, mais voici quelque chose à garder à l'esprit lorsque vous comparez: vous payez pour ce que vous obtenez. Le prix le moins cher peut ne pas être la meilleure qualité. Il pourrait y avoir des problèmes sous-jacents dont vous n'êtes pas conscients et il pourrait également y avoir un long délai d'exécution si les prix sont plus bas.

Beaucoup de sociétés d'outre-mer peuvent également offrir des options peu coûteuses, mais vous envisagerez des temps d'attente plus longs, un service peu fiable, une qualité médiocre et le risque de faire face à une entreprise à l'extérieur du Canada. Sublimation Wear is quickly expanding into all sports and there are many reasons why.

The biggest question now is how to find the right company and if you’re making the right choice. (If you want to know more about sublimation, click here)

1. Made 100% in Canada

A lot of companies will claim that their products are made in Canada or that they’re a local vendor. In a sense, they are since the sublimation wear is printed, cut, and sewn together here in Canada. Is it made 100% in Canada? That’s hard to say. Most companies order their fabric from outside the country (China, for example, cheap quality). 

At LA Sport, we not only make the product, we manufacture our own fabric. As a Canadian company, we can truly say our product is 100% Canadian made. Since we manufacture our own fabric, this allows us to have better turnaround times and reliable service. 

2. Timing

Of course if you’re paying for high quality sublimation wear, you want them as quick as possible. For team captains, we understand the hassles of trying to get the team fees in order which is why most of the time you’re only able to order several weeks prior to your first game. 

The average turnaround time for sublimation wear is 5-6 weeks. You’re looking at a month and a half wait time so you now have to make sure you collect your team fees well in advance or else you’ll be wearing your old gear for the start of the season. What makes it worse is that if a printer breaks down, you could be adding another 1-3 weeks to your order. Always double check if the company you are going with has enough printers. Pricing might be better but you could potentially be looking at a longer wait time. 

Did you know LA Sport has 6 big printers? That means we can boost the turnaround time to 3-4 weeks and if a printer breaks down, we still make the timing. 

3. Quality

The jerseys provided through LA Sport are made of high end fabric which enables the jerseys to be light and breathable. They’re practically the same as having performance shirts however you can customize the look. 

Teams are starting to realize that you can get the same sharp design without having to sew on extra patches or risk having your numbers peel off during the game. With sublimation, the look doesn’t fade or wash away, it doesn’t peel away and you keep the same crisp look you had from when you first got them. 

4. Service

The quality of product will last you a while so you will want to make sure that you’re getting everything you want from the beginning. LA Sport strives to achieve high end customer service. We have Reps in Québec and Ontario that are more than willing to show you samples of the many products we carry. They are also there to help you put together your orders while guiding you through the process.

Chandails de champions

Cherchez-vous une nouvelle série de chandails d'équipe? Pensez-vous que vos chandails sont trop lourds? Ne nous dites pas que vous portez encore des T-shirts en coton avec un logo à repasser.

Ballhockeygear.ca est un représentant officiel de LASport.ca, où nous sommes fiers de la qualité et du service. Nos chandails sont sublimés sur un tissu en maille de riz polyester qui permet au chandails d'être extrêmement léger et respirant. Nous savons comment il peut obtenir en été, donc avoir un chandail qui est à la fois léger et respirant peut sûrement être un changeur de jeu. Puisque les chandails sont capables de respirer, il facilite également le séchage de cette façon si vous jouez dans un tournoi ou plusieurs jeux en un week-end, vous pouvez facilement sécher votre chandail entre les jeux.

Qu'est-ce que la sublimation?

Si vous n'êtes pas familier avec le terme de sublimation, c'est le processus dans lequel un colorant est imprimé sur du papier de transfert puis placé dans une presse de chaleur commerciale avec le tissu, la chaleur de la presse ouvre les pores du tissu et le colorant est transféré dans un état gazeux dans les pores. Une fois que le tissu est retiré de la presse et se refroidit, les pores se ferment et le colorant est incorporé de façon permanente dans le tissu. Il ne se fanera jamais.

Afin d'assurer un tissu de qualité, LASport.ca fabrique son propre tissu dans son entrepôt à Laval, au Québec, donc il est 100% fabriqué au Québec.

Qu'est-ce que la sublimation?

Nous le gardons très simple. Voici ce dont vous avez besoin pour accélérer le processus.

1. Logo en format vectoriel (ai ou eps), LASport.ca peut fournir des logos personnalisés et créer un vecteur de votre logo pour un supplément de 60 $
2. Schéma de couleur et / ou chandail de conception, LASport.ca peut fournir une conception personnalisée de votre combinaison de couleurs ou vous pouvez choisir / fournir des modèles existants
3. Les noms, les tailles et les numéros des chandails, en utilisant les graphiques ci-dessous.

Une fois que vous avez ces informations, vous pouvez nous contacter directement à info@ballhockeygear.ca où nous pouvons vous fournir un devis officiel et vous mettre en place.

Voici les prochaines étapes une fois que vous nous contactez.

1. Nous vous fournissons une facture
2. Pour démarrer le processus, nous aurons besoin d'un dépôt de 50%
3. Vous êtes fourni avec un maximum de 2 visuels, $50 pour les changements supplémentaires
4. Une fois que le visuel est approuvée, l'ordre est envoyé à l'impression qui prend 3-4 semaines.
1. L'ordre est placé en file d'attente pour l'impression
2. Le papier de transfert est imprimé 
3. Le papier de transfert est ensuite placé dans une presse de chaleur commerciale avec du tissu LA Sport où le colorant est transféré au tissu
4. Une fois le tissu imprimé, le tissu est coupé en motifs
5. Les motifs sont ensuite cousus ensemble complétant votre commande de chandails
5. Une fois la commande terminée, nous vous ferons parvenir une notification dans laquelle les 50% restants seront dus
6. Vous présentez vos chandails à votre équipe et jouer confortablement tout en regardant sharp

Are you looking for a new set of team jerseys? Do you find your jerseys are too heavy? Don't tell us you're still wearing cotton T-Shirts with an iron on logo. 

Ballhockeygear.ca is an official Rep for LASport.ca, where we take pride in quality and service. Our jerseys are sublimated on a polyester rice mesh fabric which allows the jersey to be extremely light and breathable. We know how hot it can get in the summer so having a jersey that is both light and breathable can surely be a game changer. Since the jerseys are able to breathe, it also makes it easier to dry so that way if you're playing in a tournament or multiple games in one weekend, you can easily dry your jersey between games. 

What is Sublimation?

If you're not familiar with the term sublimation, it is the process in which a dye is printed on transfer paper then placed in a commercial heat press along with the fabric, the heat from the press opens the pores of the fabric and the dye is transferred in a gaseous state into the pores. Once the fabric is removed from the press and cools down, the pores close and the dye is permanently embedded in the fabric. It will never fade and never wash out. 

To ensure quality fabric, LASport.ca manufactures it's own fabric in their warehouse in Laval, Québec so it is 100% Canadian made. 

How to order Sublimated Jerseys?

We keep it very simple. Here's what you need to speed up the process. 

1. Logo in vector format (ai or eps), LASport.ca can provide custom logos and create a vector of your logo for an extra fee of $60
2. Colour scheme and/or jersey design, LASport.ca can provide a custom design from your colour scheme or you can choose/provide existing templates
3. Jersey names, sizes, and numbers using the charts below. 

Once you have those 3 pieces of information, you can contact us directly at info@ballhockeygear.ca where we can provide you with an official quote and set you up. 

Here are the next steps once you contact us. 

1. We provide you with a quote
2. To start the process, we will need a 50% deposit
3. You are provided with up to 2 mock ups, any additional changes are a $50 fee. 
4. Once mock up is approved, the order is sent to printing which taks 3-4 weeks. 
1. Order is placed in queue for printing
2. Transfer paper is printed with patterns
3. Transfer paper is then placed in commercial heat press with LASport.ca fabric where dye is transferred to fabric
4. Once fabric is printed, the fabric is cut into patterns
5. The patterns are then sewn together completing your jersey order
5. Once the order is complete, we'll send you a notification in which the remaining 50% will be due
6. You present your jerseys to your team and play comfortably while looking sharp. ;)
